Families of the Fallen

USO staff and volunteers offer assistance and consolation to grieving families during their travels to and from Dover Air Force Base to witness the dignified transfer of their fallen heroes.

Our team of specially-trained volunteers aid the family members as they maneuver through Philadelphia International Airport, acting as the onsite liaison between military branches and these families and providing comfort and travel assistance during this difficult time.

Family notifications occur at all times of the day and night, and Liberty USO works 24/7 to make sure that family members are well cared for when they arrive at the airport. We also support them on their return home with airline ticketing and TSA assistance.

We are proud and honored to assist these Gold Star families at this most difficult time.
